How Pokepedia works
Everything in Pokepedia lives in a handful of tabs. Here's what each one does and how to get the most out of it.
Pokédex
Browse all 1,025+ Pokémon in one place. Search by name, or filter by type, region, generation, or game. Switch between grid and list view and sort by Pokédex number or name. Pokémon you've caught show a green badge, so your progress is visible at a glance.
Collection
Your personal Pokédex tracker. The Caught tab shows your National Dex completion percentage with a regional breakdown, so you can see how close you are to finishing each generation. The Favorites tab keeps every starred Pokémon in one place.
Team Builder
Create as many teams as you like, up to six Pokémon each. Name them, mark individual Pokémon as shiny, and let Team Analysis work out your type weaknesses, resistances, and immunities before you battle.
Shiny Hunt
A dedicated encounter counter for your hunts. Pick your method and Pokepedia calculates your cumulative shiny probability in real time. When the shiny finally shows up, log it: finished hunts are saved to a gallery with the date and encounter count.
Random Encounter
Masuda Method
Soft Reset
SOS Battle
…and more
Daily Trivia
One new question a day: identify a Pokémon from its description or recognise its silhouette. Answer correctly to build your streak. Everyone gets the same question on the same day, so you can compete with friends.
